Ken also started in supporting roles during his early acting career. One of his first iconic roles was when he starred in the romance drama series "Tween Hearts," as Mackenzie (Mac), wherein he appears from time to time during the whole run of the show. This is also his first time being in a loveteam together with Yassi Pressman.
Destiny Rose/Joey Vergara from 'Destiny Rose'

In 2015, Ken got his first official lead role in an advocacy drama series "Destiny Rose," wherein he plays the role as Joey, a man who has a heart of a woman. After his character struggled a lot in the story, he later underwent surgery and transformed into a transgender woman with a new name, Destiny Rose. His leading man, Fabio Ide, portrayed the role of Gabriele, a man who fell in love with the beautiful woman, Destiny Rose. This show advocates people who are part of the LGBTQ+ community, most especially transgender people.
Yuan Lee from 'Meant To Be'

After the success of his first lead series, Ken was casted to be one out of the four leading men in the romantic-comedy series "Meant to Be." Typically, in a drama series, there is only one main leading lady and one main leading man, however, this show has four leading men. His leading lady in this show was Barbie Forteza, together with the other leading men, Ivan Dorschner, Jak Roberto and Addy Raj. Ken's character Yuan, is a Filipino-Chinese bad boy who met Billie (played by Barbie) by fate together with his friends, Ethan (played by Ivan), Andoy (played by Jak), and Jai (played by Addy). They had a not-so-good relationship with Billie at first, but as the story progress, all of them fell in love with her which resulted in a competition between the four of them about winning Billie's heart.
Robert 'Boyet' Mariano from 'My Special Tatay'

Ken continued to show his range as an actor as he took the role of Boyet, in another advocacy drama series "My Special Tatay." The story revolves around a young man with a mild intellectual disability and how he will take care of his child together with his family. They also showed in this show about how different people treat someone like him. Ken was originally teamed-up with his leading lady, Arra San Agustin as Carol, Boyet's childhood friend in the story. However, the viewers saw more chemistry of Boyet with one of the original antagonists in the story and that was none other than Rita Daniela's character, Aubrey. The whole story was changed and it gave birth to the phenomenal loveteam, BoBrey, and soon, they were known as RitKen.

Following the success of Ken's previous series with his unexpected partner, Rita, GMA Network gave them their second series together "One of the Baes," the same year when "My Special Tatay" ended. Ken's character as Grant, is a vlogger and is looking for his true love in which he calls it as his "crown princess." Therefore, he entered the maritime academy thinking he can find his crown princess there. He first thought it was Xtina (played by Joyce Ching), but not until he met Jowalyn (played by Rita).

Ken keeps on making history in portraying unusual roles as he got casted again in another advocacy drama series "Ang Dalawang Ikaw," still together with his everlasting loveteam partner, Rita. The show advocates people who suffer from a mental health condition called DID, or "Dissociative Identity Disorder." This is RitKen's third series together and they are about to make history again as the show airs on June 21, 2021. Ken plays two roles in this series: Nelson, the husband of Mia (played by Rita), who suffers from DID, and Tyler, the alter personality of Nelson who has his own world. The story will show how to understand people who experience this kind of disorder.
Luis from 'Huling Ulan sa Tag-Araw'

Ken's movie "Huling Ulan sa Tag-Araw," still together with Rita, will be released soon. Ken portrays Luis, a soon to be priest but not until he met Luisa (played by Rita), and will eventually fall in love with her.
